We are pleased to welcome you to membership in the Association for the Education of Young Children.  Your dues have paid for membership in three organizations: 

-NAEYC—the National Association for the Education of Young Children

-PennAEYC— our state Affiliate of NAEYC

-your local chapter if you joined one (or at-large PennAEYC if you did not)

PennAEYC is led by a volunteer board of about 25 people, including 8 elected officers and representatives from each of the 13 Chapters.  The Board meets four times each year, and committees meet more often as needed.  PennAEYC recently hired a full-time executive director to oversee work toward the organization's mission.
