Mission Statement

PennAEYC exists for the purpose of leading and consolidating the efforts of individuals and groups working to achieve healthy development and constructive education for all young children. Primary attention is devoted to assuring the provision of high quality early childhood programs for young children.

PennAEYC's Vision

is that every child in Pennsylvania has the equal opportunity to be a successful, responsible, and productive member of society as a result of their early childhood experiences.

PennAEYC's Goals

Chapter Support

--support existing chapters and their leaders and facilitate the development of new chapters

Advocacy and Public Policy

--provide leadership and support for early childhood professionals, interested groups, families, and agencies working to improve the lives of young children and their families

Professional Development

--collaborate with others to coordinate, provide, and promote professional development opportunities

Membership Development

--provide services to members and build and encourage diverse membership
